ust like most areas of organising a wedding, choosing your wedding invitations can be a bit of work. No longer do your invitations have to be (depending on the colour of your dress) be on ivory or white card engraved with black and grey ink. Now you can be as creative, formal or informal as you like, just choose an invitation that matches your theme and budget.
* Know how many guests you plan to invite and remember that just because you have 60 guests, doesn’t mean you need 60 invitations! couples and there children can go on one invite. Do however order an extra 10 or 15, just in case you make any mistakes when writing them out or you suddenly remember
someone for originally forgot.
* Again know your budget before you start looking as you can end up spending a lot more than you intended! Invitations vary in price, with printed invites being the cheapest to handmade and bespoke being considerably more. Don’t forget you will also need to think about your postage as the cost can add up quickly.beach-wedding-invitations
* Remember you invitations are the first impression that your guests will have of your wedding, so make sure that they should fall in line with your theme. If for example your having a beach wedding a formal wedding invitation wouldn’t suit.
* If you don’t want invitations that match your theme, choose one that shows your personalities, such as your hobbies or maybe a photograph of the two of you. Whatever you decide , make sure that it is unique to you.
I have found some great ideas on the Verbena Wedding Stationary site.
