Beach Wedding Ideas

There are a range of different options for a beach wedding such as an ocean theme, tropical or a luau, nautical theme and even sea shells.

As bright colors are this years trend, the tropical theme is an excellent choice especially for a beach wedding!

Decoration – bright colors such as orange, yellow and green are great colors to go for, bright flower center pieces or tropical fruit baskets would work well, as well as colorful petals scattered across the table would be effective or perhaps placing colorful lanterns as center pieces. Try having a raffia hula skirt look around the buffet table if you choose to have a buffet.

Wedding Favours – How about giving guests fans to help keep them cool or perhaps brightly coloured cake or cupcake boxes, pineapple place card holders or coconut candle holders. For a normal beach theme, use miniature flips flops as place card holders.

Food and Drink – A buffet of roasted pig, or fish such as salmon, with a range of exotic vegetables and fruit. Drinks can include fruit juices, cocktails and punc. Or you could even have a BBQ, everyone loves a BBQ, and it is a relaxed alternative.

Entertainment – If you are having a beach wedding, you may find there are no electricity points, so you may need to think about other entertainment, maybe having a harpist or steel drum players, hula dancers or close up magician.
